Asking about results

Most parents are interested in how their children perform at school and children who often have good marks are usually very willing to share these results with them, children who don’t get positive results on a regular basis are more hesitant to do so. But marks on tests and exams should not be the only way to evaluate learning. If the school doesn’t provide feedback on each child’s individual improvement, you can try to establish a learning pathway with your child where you document the progress in a certain subject or on a topic together to make the learning visible. Digital tools can be a great way to do this as children usually like using them. If your school uses MS Teams and Microsoft 365 you might want to look into https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/office365/customlearning/custom_plancontent

Another possibility can be found here: https://www.valamis.com/documentation/learning-paths or specifically for language learning: https://www.ecml.at/ECML-Programme/Programme2020-2023/Languagelearningpathwaysofyoungchildren/tabid/4304/Default.aspx
